How Genesis handles public website data.
Clear handling of buyer enquiries, preferences, attribution, and private-link context.
Last updated 24 August 2026
This page explains the public website privacy approach for Genesis Homes in the Sun. It is written for clarity and should be reviewed before launch against the final operating company details, CRM processes, and consent tooling.
Information Genesis collects
When you submit a form, Home Finder, brochure request, consultation request, or WhatsApp enquiry, Genesis may collect your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, contact preference, budget, timeframe, buyer intent, lifestyle preferences, and the page or development you asked about.
The website may also capture practical attribution context, such as first landing page, referring page, UTM campaign parameters, saved favourites, browser user agent, and the page viewed before an enquiry. This helps Genesis understand what you were interested in and follow up with more relevant guidance.
How the information is used
Genesis uses enquiry and preference information to respond to your request, recommend relevant Murcia developments or models, send requested brochure information, arrange consultations, and provide buyer guidance.
Attribution and saved-favourite context may be stored with the lead record so the Genesis team can understand which developments, models, guides, or locations shaped your enquiry.
Favourites and local preferences
Visitors can save favourite developments or models locally in the browser without creating an account. If you later submit an enquiry, brochure request, or Home Finder form, those favourites may be attached to the lead context.
Local favourites can be removed from the favourites page in the same browser. They are not a reservation, availability check, or account record by themselves.
Private links and availability
Private plot or availability links may be shared only after direct contact with Genesis. These links are intended for controlled viewing, may expire or be revoked, and should not be treated as public listings.
Access to private links may be logged so Genesis can support the buyer relationship and protect private inventory information.
Data sharing and service providers
Genesis may use trusted service providers for hosting, CRM storage, email, automation, media storage, analytics, security, and communication workflows. These services should only receive the information needed to perform their role.
Future AI-assisted workflows should use the minimum necessary buyer and public property context, should not expose secrets or private inventory, and should fall back to non-AI behaviour if unavailable.
Your choices
You can choose not to provide optional phone or WhatsApp details if email contact is enough. Marketing updates should only be sent where consent has been provided or another lawful basis applies.
To ask about your information, request an update, or withdraw a marketing preference, contact Genesis through the contact page.
